It just seems that it would be better to either use a stock dist and install one of the electronic conversions that are available which work great, OR, have Dave Ray convert the stock dist to a small body HEI. If you break down on the road, you can find replacement parts at almost any auto parts store. But in either case, both Pertronics and Dave Ray's setups convert a standard breaker point distributor to an HEI setup. It's a small body, thus it will fit. birds love us whittier
