Edit terms WebJul 17, 2024 · In my SharePoint 2016 site, the browser's (IE, EDGE, Chrome) built in spell checker (presumably driven off of HTML5), doesn't seem to work (no red lines as you type). It works in other sites lite twitter or stackexchange. It also works in my custom Angular form driven from my SharePoint site. WebSpellcheckwsdl.aspx under C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\15\ISAPI to whatever filename. It breaks the Spell check web service. The spellcheck window still prompt up but it will always find zero error. However I still want to disable the Spellcheck prompt dialog. Entire spell check function just a mistake.
