WebOn an adaptive/G-SYNC monitor, the refresh rate is changed on the fly to match the current frame rate (assuming it's within the monitor's adaptive operating range) and when you also enable v-sync, the frame rate and refresh rate sync perfectly, meaning that if you suddenly drop frames, it does so smoothly without a noticeable stutter or tearing.
